Attorney Journals strives to feature a top attorney and/or law firm on the cover each month along with occasional inside feature stories on other legal professionals and/or companies. We highlight the unique offerings of the professionals and/or businesses we profile including their history, areas of expertise, unique selling proposition (USP), stories of success and how to contact them to learn more.

Criteria for A Cover Story

To be considered for the cover story, an attorney and/or law firm must have an excellent reputation and possess qualities that distinguish themselves within the Orange County and San Diego County legal communities. We are not interested in meeting attorneys and/or firms who think they can “buy” their way onto the cover.

Qualifications

The following criteria must be met for cover and non-cover feature consideration:

  • Practice within Orange County and/or San Diego County
  • Partner, owner, or other significant position within their firm
  • Active license in good-standing.
  • Excellent online reviews via Yelp, Google Reviews, Avvo, etc.
Some other areas of achievement that we use in our evaluation and selection process may include:

  • Story angle
  • Professional achievements
  • Reputation and areas of expertise
  • Charitable contributions and/or community pro bono work
  • Professional certifications, honors, awards and/or special recognition’s

Non-Cover Feature Profiles

  1. Boutique Law Firm of the Month – Profiled Law firm with 2-5 attorneys
  2. Solo Practitioner of the Month – Profile on law firm with one active attorney
  3. Rising Star of the Month – Profile on attorney who’s doing exceptionally well and has only been practicing for less than five years. Does not need to be a partner or owner at their firm to qualify.
  4. Huge Win of the Month – Profile on a very meaningful case victory for a law firm and their client.
  5. Expert Witness of the Month – Profile on expert witnesses in a variety of fields.
  6. Professional Arbitrator/Mediator of the Month – Profile on well-respected mediation professionals.
